The Riverside

The Green Room is a private dining room in The Riverside that combines an enclosed layout with folding glass doors so the space can feel separated or opened onto the main pub area. Design: The Green Room's interiors pair geometric wallpaper with timber panelling and cane-backed wooden chairs for a retro-modern look. The room uses low pendant lights and framed portraits to keep the scale domestic and focused on the dining table. Features: The Green Room includes a wall-mounted screen and a PA system with speakers for presentations or playlists. The room provides Wi‑Fi, air conditioning and natural light, and it is wheelchair accessible; furnishings centre on a single long dining table and comfortable wooden seating. Own-music playback is permitted. Ideal for: Teams and small social groups seeking a contained, seated dining or boardroom-style meeting space that balances privacy and informality. What guests say: The Green Room is described as calm and inviting, and the space is frequently praised for being easy to converse in thanks to restrained background music levels.
