Founding Hosts

The first hundred cosy spaces.

We’re hand-picking and hand-onboarding the first 100 hosts on Cozy: people with characterful, cared-for spaces who’d rather host good gatherings than fill a calendar at any cost.

What founding hosts get

Who it’s for

Cosy, not corporate.

Living rooms, studios, chapels and church halls, back rooms, gardens, barns and retreat houses. If it feels like somewhere friends would gather, it’s probably for Cozy.

  • It has character

A story, some history or a point of view: somewhere people remember, not an anonymous meeting room.

  • It’s cared for

Considered, tidy and loved. Plants, textures and good light count for more than polish.

  • It’s human-scale

Right for a gathering of people who know each other: a supper club, a workshop, a circle, a small retreat.

  • It’s warm

Daylight, lamps, candles, a fire or a garden. A place you’d want to linger.

  • It’s within reach

Community rates, charity-friendly, flexible for grassroots groups, or simply modest.

How it works

  1. 1

    Say hello

Create your host profile — or reply to your invite — and tell us a little about your space.

  2. 2

    We build it together

Leo drafts your listing from your photos or website, and someone from Cozy goes through it with you.

  3. 3

    Go live

Your space is reviewed against our cosy rubric, then goes live with your Founding Host badge. Enquiries arrive in your inbox.

Questions

What is a Founding Host?

One of the first 100 hosts on Cozy. We onboard each founding host by hand, help build their listing, and give them a permanent Founding Host badge.

Does it cost anything?

No. Listing is free forever, there is no commission on bookings, and guests pay you directly. Cozy is funded by voluntary donations from people who found it useful.

What kind of spaces are you looking for?

Characterful, cared-for, human-scale spaces: living rooms, studios, chapels and halls, back rooms, gardens, barns and retreat houses, in London and beyond. Generic conference suites and anonymous meeting rooms usually aren’t a fit.

Do I have to show my prices?

No. Cozy never shows prices publicly. You share your rates privately with guests in messages and proposals, and you can show badges such as “Community rates”.

What happens when the 100 places are gone?

Cozy stays free to list for everyone. Founding hosts simply keep their badge and the extra help they had at the start.

Who reviews my listing?

Leo does a first read against our cosy rubric, then a person at Cozy approves it. If something needs work, you get kind, specific suggestions.

Can I use photos from my own website?

Yes, as long as they are real photos of your space and you have the right to use them. Leo can import them from a website you own.

Room for their thing.

100 founding places left. Free to list. No commission, ever.
