How Cozy works.
Looking for a space
Ask Dea- 1
Tell Dea what you’re planning
Type it, or tap the microphone and say it — “a supper club for 20 in east London, candlelit, in March”. Speech is turned into text in your browser; nothing is recorded.

Dea finds spaces and asks for you
She reads you back your brief, shows a short visual shortlist of spaces that genuinely fit, and with your OK sends one enquiry to each host. You can also post your brief so suitable hosts can come to you.
- 3
You confirm
Hosts reply in your Cozy inbox. Dea and the host’s assistant, Leo, can agree dates and details inside the host’s own terms, and put it on a proposal card. Nothing is booked until you tap approve and the host does too.
Hosting a space
List your space- 1
List free with Leo
Upload your photos (or point Leo at your own website) and he drafts your listing — description, captions, alt text, uses and features. You edit and approve every word.
- 2
Sync your calendar
Paste the private iCal link from Google, Outlook, Apple, Airbnb or anywhere else, and Cozy keeps your busy times up to date. Confirmed Cozy bookings come back to you as a feed.

Reply, agree, invoice
Leo drafts replies for you to send, and — if you switch it on — negotiates within the rates and discounts you set. When both sides approve, Cozy creates your invoice and emails it.
Money
Payments go straight to hosts.
When a booking is approved by both sides, the host’s invoice is created automatically. Guests can pay by card — through a Stripe checkout on the host’s own Stripe account — by bank transfer to the details on the invoice, or on invoice terms for organisations.
Cozy never holds money and takes no fee. If Cozy was useful, you’ll be invited to make a small donation afterwards. It’s never required, and it never blocks anything.
Cozy will never ask you to pay a deposit or transfer money in a message. If anyone does, please report the conversation.
Questions
Does Cozy charge a fee or commission?
No. Listing, messaging and booking through Cozy are free for guests and hosts. Cozy is funded by voluntary donations.
Why are there no prices on Cozy?
Every space and every group is different, so Cozy starts with a conversation instead of a price tag. Hosts share their rates in messages and in proposals, and some show badges like “Community rates”.
Who do I pay?
You pay the host directly — by card through the host’s own Stripe account, by bank transfer, or by invoice. Cozy never holds your money.
Is anything booked without my say-so?
No. Dea and Leo can agree the details, but a booking only exists once the guest and the host have both approved it.
Do I need an account to browse?
No. You can browse and chat with Dea without signing in. We ask for your email, with a magic link, the first time you send something to a host.
