Questions
What does Cozy charge?
Nothing. Cozy takes 0% of every Kudos, with no platform fee and no subscription. Stripe charges its own standard card fee on each payment, as it would anywhere, and that comes out of your Stripe balance.
Who can receive Kudos?
Anyone with a Cozy profile people can see: your Connect profile, or your host page if you list a space. Connect your own Stripe account (or create one in a few minutes), switch Kudos on, and your card appears on your profile.
Where does the money go?
Straight into your own Stripe account, as a direct payment from your supporter to you. Cozy never holds it, and Stripe pays it out to your bank on your usual schedule.
Can supporters keep their message private?
Yes. Supporters can tick “Make this message private”, and then only you see their name and message. Public Kudos show a name, how many cuppas and the message, never an amount or an email address.
How do refunds work?
Refunds are yours to make in your Stripe dashboard, from your own balance. Cozy picks up the refund automatically and takes it off your Kudos total.
Can I choose something other than a cuppa?
Yes: a cuppa, a slice of cake, a sunflower, a biscuit or a ticket, at a price from £1 to £20 each. Supporters choose 1, 3, 5 or any number up to 50.
