Silchester Farm

Tucked down a tree-lined lane on the Hampshire/Berkshire border, Silchester Farm is a rustic-luxury farm estate about an hour from London. Centuries of farming heritage have been thoughtfully converted here – the 400-year-old oak-beamed threshing barn now anchors a collection of characterful, design-led spaces made for thinking, feasting and celebrating.

The estate offers around 23 bedrooms split between the seven-bedroom Farmhouse, the six-bedroom Barn House, the one-bedroom Granary cottage, and nine luxury "Pyggies" – handmade sleeping pods with king beds, en-suites and kitchenettes.

For workshops and strategy days, the air-conditioned Cow Shed seats up to 140, the Threshing Barn up to 60, the Hen House up to 18, and the Farmhouse and Barn House make informal breakouts for 12 around big kitchen tables. The semi-covered Dutch Barn holds up to 140 standing for parties and long-table feasts.

Onsite team-building includes cocktail masterclass, pizza making workshop, tennis tournaments, guided walks, egway sessions, axe throwing and archery, with wellness options running from yoga and cycling to sauna and ice bath sessions, and creative workshops spanning pottery, candle making and baking.

Guests also get a heated outdoor pool, a tennis court and complimentary bikes, with gardens, lakeside and open fields for games and quiet resets.
