Clerkenwell and Social

Private Room & Bar 1st Floor is a private bar space in Clerkenwell and Social centred on a long, dedicated service counter that functions as the room's focal point. Design: The room has dark-painted columns and low ceilings balanced by polished timber flooring and brass-trimmed black joinery. Banquette seating runs along one wall and the layout uses a mix of high and low tables to create an informal, contained feel. Features: The space includes a PA system and speakers and allows external DJs to bring their own kit. The room has air conditioning, Wi‑Fi and natural light from upper-level windows, and it provides varied fixed seating alongside standing areas for flexibility. Ideal for: Small to medium social groups seeking a relaxed, drink-focused standing reception or an informal seated gathering with background music. What sets it apart: A suspended installation of open books above the room provides a distinctive visual focal point not found in the rest of the venue. What guests say: The space is cosy and stylish with attentive service. The bar's cocktails and the venue's pizzas receive repeated positive mention.
