Battersea Flower Station

Garden is a semi-private outdoor space in Battersea Flower Station characterised by a sheltered, intimate courtyard layout. Design: The courtyard is narrow and informal, organised into layered sightlines created by mixed-height planting and timber structures. The visual character is rustic and practical rather than formal, with an orderly, workroom sense rather than manicured lawns. Features: Timber benches, raised planters and gravel paths provide multiple surfaces for food, drink or displays. Venue Wi‑Fi is available and the area benefits from full natural daylight. The layout allows straightforward placement of hire furniture and simple catering set-ups. Ideal for: Small groups seeking an intimate, relaxed social gathering that works as either a seated meal around benches or an informal standing reception. What sets it apart: Direct access to the venue's on-site florist and nursery stock gives events immediate access to plants and floral displays. What guests say: The space is calming and feels like a secret garden. On-site staff are welcoming and helpful when arranging purchases or advice.
